Enrollment

Requirements

The minimum age to participate is four years old - this is set by PATH International. There is no upper age limit.

Persons who weigh more than 180 pounds are not able to ride due to the weight restrictions of our horses. Please call us to discuss alternatives to riding.

All participants must be cleared by their physician to enroll.

Participant applications must be completed annually and in the same calendar year as the classes.

To enroll, all past and current tuition must be paid.

Enrollment Periods

Our spring session is 6 weeks long and runs from mid-March to the end of April.

Our June session is 4 weeks long and runs from the beginning to the end of June.
-
Our July session is 4 weeks long and runs from the beginning to the end of July.
-
Our fall session is 8 weeks long and runs from the beginning of September to the end of October.

Lesson FAQ

Class tuition for excused absences or cancelled lessons will be refunded or applied to a future session.

There are no refunds for unexcused absences.
How to Enroll for Spring Session
STEP 1
Save your Spot!
To enroll, send an email to therapeion@yahoo.com with your name, your participant's name, and your 1st & 2nd preference from these lesson schedule options.
*Make sure to include the day & time.
Tuesday:
4:00, 5:00, or 6:00
Wednesday:
4:00, 5:00, or 6:00
Thursday:
4:00, 5:00, or 6:00
STEP 3
Complete your Application
After submitting your online application, you will receive an email with a PDF document attached (the first page will already be filled out for you).
Please print the document, sign page one, and complete page two. The office of the participant's physician must complete pages three and four.
STEP 4
Submit your Application
Deliver your completed application to Therapeion: you may mail the application or drop it off in the stable's classroom.
The classroom is on the center aisle of the red barn. There is a black mailbox in the classroom to drop your paperwork.

Scholarship Fund
We are unable to offer scholarships at this time due to lack of funds.
If you would like to make a donation to our fund or sponsor a participant please contact us.
Therapeion's scholarship fund is maintained by donations and scholarship availability varies.
In order to serve more participants, we award half scholarships only.
To apply for a scholarship, complete the application and either mail or email it to us.
Applications MUST be postmarked no later than two weeks before the start of classes to be considered.
