THERAPEION THERAPEUTIC RIDING CENTER

Contact the Volunteer Coordinator to sign up to volunteer or to obtain information on volunteering.
VOLUNTEER TRAINING INFORMATION
The mandatory RIDE TO RENEW and RIDE ON program specific training classes conducted by Tippecanoe County Child Protective Services and are held in the basement of their office at 111 N. 4th Street, Lafayette, IN, unless noted otherwise.
All other classes are held at Shepard Stable, home of Therapeion Therapeutic Riding Center.
The Horse Handling training is for those volunteer mentors wishing to be a horse handler during class or to work with the horses outside class and is optional.

SUMMER 2008 SCHEDULE

THE LAST CLASS IS ON: July 31, 2008
Each class period needs a MINIMUM of 10 volunteers and the more, the merrier!

TUESDAY SCHEDULE
5:00pm-5:50pm Ride to Win  (except day camp weeks)our program for children with disabilities
6:00pm-7:30pm Ride On (Cary Home) our program for youth at risk

WEDNESDAY SCHEDULE
4:00pm-5:20pm Ride to Renew (except day camp weeks) our program for abused & neglected children
6pm-7:30pm Ride To Renew (except day camp weeks)) our program for abused & neglected children

DAY CAMP SCHEDULE (6 riders per session)
