Programs
Therapeion Therapeutic Riding Center serves children with disabilities by offering specially designed riding classes tailored to meet the need of each individual rider.
Therapeion offers programs for child victims of abuse and children dealing with mental health issues with programs that involve both riding and learning activities.
Our youth at risk program pairs troubled youth with a specially trained volunteer mentor to help these riders develop self control, build competence and confidence, learn how to cooperate, and improve communications and learning skills.
Our program for women who have been victims of domestic violence is in development and scheduled to begin in the fall of 2010.

Please note that due to safety issues persons over
180 pounds are not able to ride at this time. However,
we do offer ground lessons for our larger participants.
