BUDDY
Buddy is a ten year old registered Quarter Horse gelding who was donated to our program. Buddy has been ridden both English and Western, has worked cattle, and has shown English. He is a sweet and easy going boy and we are excited that he has joined us!
THERAPEION THERAPEUTIC RIDING CENTER
POPEYE
Popeye came to Therapeion from Indiana Horse Rescue. He was part of the first round of rescued horses from Gibson County and had been in foster care from November 2006 until he moved to Therapeion in August 2007. Popeye is our class clown! The vet says he's around 11 or 12 years old. Popeye is 14 H 1", so is a very large pony.
PAMELA
Pamela is a 21 year old Thoroughbred mare who has been there and done it. She has shown in both 4-H and Pony Club and is the newest member of our therapy team. We are excited she has joined us!
PHOEBE
Phoebe is Libby's personal horse and also a member of our therapy team. Phoebe is 10 years old and is double registered with the American Paint Horse Association and the Pinto Horse Association of America. Libby acquired Phoebe as a 2 year old untrained rescue horse and together they have logged almost 1000 hours in the APHA Ride American Program.
LYLE
Lyle is a Hafflinger pony and quite the friendly little boy! Lyle is around 7-8 years old. Lyle gets along great with his pasture mates and people but still hasn't decided what to think about dogs. Since Lyle is our smallest pony, we use him with our smallest riders and for ground work classes.

We are currently in need of a healthy and well broke and kid friendly pony, no vices, between 8 and 15 years old. Your pony would have a forever home and be a much loved and valuable member of our team!
TINA TURNER
Like her best buddy, Janis, Tina is a true dwarf mini horse. She is a great girl and before she came to us worked with school groups and Special Olympics. She's a diva for sure!
JANIS JOPLIN
Janis is also a true dwarf mini horse. Janis is a sweetie and has also worked with children with disabilites before joining our program.
Both girls keep us in stitches!
ADDY
Addy, or Admiral Jess, is a 21 year old registered Quarter Horse. Addy has been shown by kids for the last few years and is a welcome addition to our horse staff. Addy is a handsome boy, well trained, and has a sweet disposition.
