Therapeion Therapeutic Riding Center
The American Miniature Horse (usually just called a Miniature Horse) is a Mini-size horse breed from the USA. In fact the animals are not much bigger than a big dog and in many parts of Europe they are still quite unknown. Therapeion is blessed to have two miniature horses on staff: our Diva Ms Janis Joplin and our mini Windmill Junction Boxcar Willy, or "Willy".
Mobile mini visits are typically 1-2 hours long. We bring 1 or 2 miniature horses with a certified instructor and one volunteer per horse to provide interactive and engaging activities for participants. We can do our activities inside or outside. If inside we bring along all of the necessary supplies to maintain a clean and safe environment. Our minis even have their own shoes so that your floors stay squeaky clean. They have visited schools and nursing homes and participated in many community activities and fairs.
We can also accommodate group visits at our facility. If you choose to visit Therapeion with your group we can include Shepard Stable's miniature donkey, Larry, in our activities.
Please contact Therapeion for pricing and scheduling information.
