Volunteers are the critical to the success of the Therapeion program. Each volunteer is trained to work directly with participants both as a horse handler and as an assistant to the rider. Volunteers give moral and physical support to riders and enjoy the personal satisfaction of seeing each individual's progress from week to week. While most of our volunteers help during our classes many other volunteer opportunities are available. Just let us know how you would like to help.
A necessary part of running a therapeutic riding center is funding. If you would like to serve on our fundraising committee, host an event, or have great ideas to share please contact us.
Donations of cash or in kind donations are always welcome. It costs much more to run this program than what we charge for tuition. Donations help keep our program solvent. Click on the How to Donate link for more information.
Brookston Tack & Feed is always in need of staff. Proceeds from sales are used to support our programing.
Because Therapeion is a 501(c)(3) non profit charity your donations are tax deductible.
Please contact us for more information about how you can help. We look forward to hearing from you!
"The essential joy of being with horses is that it brings us in contact with the rare elements of grace, beauty, spirit, and fire."
