We are a 501(c)(3) non profit organization so your donations are tax deductible.
Established in 2007, Therapeion provides equine assisted activities and therapies (EAAT) for individuals in Tippecanoe, White, and the surrounding counties. We are located just 20 minutes north of West Lafayette, with easy access from SR-43, SR-18, and I-65.
Therapeion is the ONLY PATH Int'l member center serving our community and uses only PATH Int'l certified instructors. No other program in our community offers instructors trained and certified specifically in therapeutic riding.
Therapeion is a Greek word that means healing of body and spirit. Our mission is to provide equine assisted programs for persons with disabilities, children who have been victims of abuse or violence, veterans with disabilities, and for youth at risk. We provide these services while treating each client and his or her family with respect. No rider will be denied services due to race, religion, gender, disability, national origin, or sexual preference.
Join us as we continue our mission. The contribution of your time, energy, or financial assistance will help us continue to provide our services and to be able to expand our programing to serve more individuals.
