Therapeion Therapeutic Riding Center is located near Lafayette, Indiana, and serves Tippecanoe County, White County, and the surrounding communities.
Therapeion is a Greek word that means healing of body and spirit. Our mission is to provide equine assisted programs for persons with disabilities, children who have been victims of abuse or violence, for battered women, and for youth at risk. We will provide these services while treating each client and his or her family with respect. No rider will be denied services due to race, religion, gender, disability, national origin, or sexual preference.
Therapeion is the ONLY PATH Int'l member center serving our area and uses only PATH Int'l certified instructors. Visit the PATH Int'l website to learn more about the safety standards and rigorous criteria PATH Int'l instructors must meet before becoming certified.
